Fraser Joyce - MA History of Medicine
I am currently in the first year of my PhD at Brookes entitled ‘Naming the Dead: Establishing the Identity of the Unknown Body in Britain, 1800-1936’; I arrived as a History undergraduate in 2004 and was encouraged to undertake a Masters in the History of Medicine after graduating, which I then continued onto a doctoral level.

Before coming to Oxford Brookes, I studied History and Social Policy as an undergraduate at Bangor University. I was very happy there and anxious about leaving my student home, not least because lots of people find moving into postgraduate study with its smaller groups and greater focus on independent study a lonely experience. Lauren Paice - MA History of Medicine
I found the History of Medicine MA course at Oxford Brookes to be excellent. The wide range of modules available meant that I could choose topics that really interested me and the quality of teaching meant that the learning experience was a really enjoyable one.
